El Comité Nacional Venezuela de la UGI (UGI) y el Grupo de Trabajo sobre Asuntos Geográficos (GTAG) ha hecho un seguimiento de la enfermedad en todo el país, desde que se emitió la alerta nacional.
Se inició el 13 de marzo y se ha mantenido, sin embargo, hubo un aumento significativo
recientemente.
