CYBERSEMINAR ON WATER AND POPULATION DYNAMICS from 5-16 OCTOBER 2015

The Population-Environment Research Network is pleased to announce a forthcoming CYBERSEMINAR ON WATER AND POPULATION DYNAMICS from 5-16 OCTOBER 2015. This cyberseminar aims to contribute to the UN International Decade for Action “Water for Life” (2005-2015) and to discussions around a plan of action for meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The cyber seminar will address a number of key issues:
– Geographic patterns of global and regional water stress
– Water supply variability in the context of a changing climate
– Water supplies for the world’s urban areas
– Access to water and sanitation in urban and rural areas of low income countries, including gender aspects
– Water governance
